شہدHow to Use Raw Honey Daily
Simple, everyday ways to work raw Sidr honey into your routine — and the one mistake that destroys its goodness.

Raw honey is honey exactly as the bees left it: unheated, unfiltered, and still carrying its natural enzymes, pollen and aroma. Commercial honey is usually pasteurised and micro-filtered so it stays clear on a shelf — pretty, but stripped.
Five easy daily uses
You do not need a recipe. You need a habit.
- ◆One teaspoon on an empty stomach with warm (not hot) water and lemon
- ◆Stirred into qahwa or green tea once it has cooled slightly
- ◆Drizzled over yoghurt, oats or fruit at breakfast
- ◆With a pinch of black seed for a traditional immunity tonic
- ◆As a sugar replacement in dressings, marinades and lassi
The mistake to avoid
Never stir raw honey into boiling liquid. Above roughly 40°C the enzymes break down and you are left with expensive syrup. Let your tea, milk or water cool until it is comfortable to sip, then add the honey.
Crystallisation is a good sign
Real honey granulates over time, especially in winter. It has not spoiled. Stand the jar in warm water for a few minutes and it will loosen again. Honey that never crystallises has usually been heated or diluted.
Keep children under one year away from honey, and use it in moderation if you are managing blood sugar.
